A multidisciplinary clinic in Quebec improves its services with eClaims

Allied healthcare professionals · Apr 25, 2022

When Dany Allard opened the doors of the Clinique Multi-Soins Dany Allard in September 2011, he made a long-time dream come true: bring together several types of professionals under one roof to better serve the community of Daveluyville in central Quebec. For him, the addition of the eClaims service is part of this same line of thinking. “It’s another service I can offer to my customers,” he says.

A competitive advantage

After receiving his diploma in massage therapy and kinesitherapy, Dany worked for seven years as an employee before taking the leap as a self-employed worker, then as an entrepreneur. His multidisciplinary clinic has nine professionals, six of whom are healthcare professionals. “My clients are mainly people with chronic problems. When I meet a new client for the first time, I ask a few questions to open their file. If a client tells me they have private insurance, I check to see if the insurer works with eClaims,” he says.

The eClaims service is a great advantage for clients like Dany’s who have chronic problems. This service allows them to pay only the portion not covered by their insurance company at each visit. As a result, they get to keep more money in their pocket and not worry about when their claim will be paid by their insurer.

"It adds value to the customer experience."

Having signed up for the service about two years ago, Dany can send claims to insurers directly from the web browser on his laptop. “My clients are satisfied with this service, and I think it’s a professional way of doing things. It’s an advantage that many professionals don’t offer their customers", he explains.

The desire to simplify his clients’ lives

Dany discovered eClaims through his professional association, the Réseau des massothérapeutes professionnels du Québec. Despite a brief adjustment period at the beginning, Dany says he is satisfied and happy to be able to help make the lives of his clients easier by filing their claims for them. “Clients like it because they have less to worry about after their treatment,” he adds.

"I think eClaims definitely helps with customer loyalty. My clients are pleasantly surprised that I offer this service."
