Shane Sabatino

Shane oversees the implementation of human resources, wellness and contact centre solutions to Canadian organizations. He also works with stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem to drive key initiatives that positively impact the health and wellness experiences of Canadians. With his strong focus on innovation, Shane leads the design and implementation of the Edmonton expansion of the TELUS Health for Good Mobile Health Clinic initiative and the TELUS Living Lab.

Prior to rejoining TELUS, Shane served as Senior Vice-president of Human Resources at Leon’s/The Brick and also held key roles within the human resources spectrum at TELUS. Drawing on nearly 25 years of experience in human resources, including 10 years in leadership roles within TELUS, Shane has demonstrated his leadership and commitment to establishing health and wellness programs that support Canadian employers and their team members in the workplace.

He holds an undergraduate as well as an after degree program, focusing on fitness and health promotion and is a graduate of the Executive programs of Harvard University, University of Michigan and the University of Alberta.

As an active member in the community, he has volunteered for charities such as the Stollery Children’s Hospital, the Children’s Miracle Network and he has played a key role in the Edmonton launch of the TELUS Health Originals documentary, Painkiller: Inside the Opioid Crisis. Further, in 2017, Shane joined the TELUS’ Edmonton Community board.
