Laura Mensch

With over 20 years of health industry expertise, including 15 years in the insurance and benefits consulting ecosystem, Laura leads the Health Benefits Management team to deliver on comprehensive and integrated solutions that facilitate the sharing of information between healthcare professionals, insurers, plan sponsors and plan members with the ultimate goal of helping companies better manage rising healthcare costs.

Prior to joining TELUS Health, she held several senior leadership positions including Divisional Vice-President for Insurance Services at ADP Canada, and Senior Vice-President and National Practice Leader in Health & Benefits at Aon Consulting where she drove key strategies related to the health benefits market.

Laura received several industry accolades including a feature in the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business “Employer Benefits Trends Perspective” (2007), Human Resources Director Education Guide “The Who’s Who of 2015” and, was a regular author of the annual feature Health Care A Strategic Look Ahead in Pension & Benefits Monitor.

Through her involvement with a number of charities including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, the Toronto Food Bank and the United Way Laura is committed to making a positive difference in her community. Originally from Manitoba, she also supports the Winnipeg Foundation Charity Hockey Tournament.

Graduate from the University of Manitoba, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Laura also holds certificates in Global Benefits Management from the Canadian Employee Benefits Foundation and Executive Sales Management from the Harvard Continuing Education Division.
