As the Chief Operating Officer for TELUS Consumer and Health Solutions, Jason leads the organizations responsible for providing customer support for millions of TELUS’ mobile, residential and healthcare customers, including patients and providers. A passion for technology and business transformation is foundational to Jason’s approach in championing his team to create meaningful value for our customers and communities by providing industry-leading, digital-first experiences, backed by exceptional human interactions.

Since joining TELUS in 2002, Jason has held a variety of key senior leadership roles, demonstrating a passion for thoughtfully leading business transformation, developing team members and growing and scaling businesses at an exceptional rate. In addition to his customer service and operational roles, he recently served as the President of TELUS Security and Automation, where he led the team responsible for implementing security and automation into TELUS’ suite of home and business solutions services. Under his leadership, TELUS has become the fastest-growing and most trusted security provider in Canada, with award-winning monitoring services that leverage TELUS’ global-leading network and innovation to digitally modernize the security market, bringing peace of mind to consumers and businesses.

Prior to joining TELUS, Jason worked with the Boston Consulting Group, consulting with Fortune 500 companies on strategic projects across major industry sectors, including consumer goods, food and beverage, financial services, manufacturing and technology. He also started his career as an entrepreneur running and consulting to many small businesses.

One of BC’s top forty under 40 and a strong advocate for education, leadership and career development, Jason enjoyed over a decade teaching youth and adults how to sail, guest lecturing at Belarus Economic State University and later the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business. He is currently the executive sponsor for the TELUS MBA program in partnership with the University of Victoria’s Gustavson School of Business and a director on the board of BC Tech Association, the largest member-led technology non-profit in British Columbia.

He continues to pursue his passion for business education by mentoring young business professionals and his teams continue their track record of best in class engagement. Jason holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA with distinction from Ivey Business School at Western University. He has been an avid soccer coach with the Vancouver United Football Club and enjoys motor biking, hiking, kayaking and skiing with his family in his spare time.
