<h2>Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together</h2>
<p>As Senior Product Manager - SmartHome Security, you will be responsible for achieving our SmartHome Security digital sales results, through the mid to long term product development on&nbsp;<a href="http://telus.com/">telus.com</a>. This includes our traditional Security service (think window and doors sensors and a control panel), as well as the growing market of Smart Automation products (think smart thermostats, water sensors, lightbulbs, door or garage openers) that can help bring more convenience, comfort and cost savings to our customers’ lives. As the lead of Digital SmartHome Security product development, you will define best in class customer experiences, iteratively launch new capabilities and manage the experience for optimized performance.</p>
<p>Over the next 2-5 years, we will be transforming our SmartHome Security offering. This presents an exciting opportunity to be at the helm of a high-visibility initiative that will have a tremendous impact for our customers and performance.</p>
<p>In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with leadership on planning and business strategy, analyzing SmartHome Security results and recommending future growth opportunities. Further, you will collaborate with partners in Products & Services, Technology Strategy, Marketing along with TELUS’ other sales channels to align and develop best-in-class end-to-end digital customer experiences.<br></p>

<ul><li>Act as the business owner for SmartHome Security on&nbsp;<a href="http://telus.com/">TELUS.com</a>; effectively analyze internal and external variables that impact our business and align on unparalleled end-to-end digital experiences</li><li>Drive digital product strategy, responsible for the vision and prioritization of digital experiences in partnership with stakeholders to achieve the desired business outcomes</li><li>Accountable for forecasting, analyzing and preparing executive-level reports</li><li>Lead strategic projects and go-to-market activities to achieve business objectives across a variety of internal teams, such as Products & Services, Marketing, Experience & Service Design, Home Solutions Commerce feature and Analytics teams SmartHome Security digital sales results with support from our analytics team</li><li>Create business cases for new opportunities, developing and executing project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies</li><li>Manage the budget for partner-funded capital projects, and work with the budget and delivery teams to ensure the budget is reconciled on a monthly basis</li><li>Collaborate with a diverse group of cross-functional partners within the organization on interdependent roadmaps and technology investments to achieve mutual business outcomes</li><li>Monitor the SmartHome Security digital product health through measurements of voice of the customer, accessibility, largest contentful paint, outage and degradation minutes to influence the improvement of our digital systems and applications</li><li>Actively track risks and mitigate issues in delivery, creating a safe environment for the cross-functional team to raise questions or concerns</li></ul>

<ul><li>Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to think strategically and distill complex and/or ambiguous problems into clear, actionable plans</li><li>Strong leadership and organizational transformation skills, with a proven record of delivering initiatives on time and budget</li><li>Experience in product development (hardware or software) and technical delivery, with 3-5 years of product management/ownership of customer-facing products/applications</li><li>Familiarity with Agile methodology</li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills to convey clear, concise, compelling messages</li><li>Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the business; building trust and strong rapport across the business is fundamental</li><li>An independent thinker and self-starter; highly organized and able to work effectively within a fast-paced and changing environment while taking initiative and being proactive</li><li>Ability to inter-operate between business strategists and technical product teams</li></ul>
