TELUS Online Security continuously monitors hard-to-find anonymous websites and forums (“the dark web”) for your personal information, which may include email addresses, passwords, and credit card numbers.  This info can be used to access your accounts or impersonate you on things like loan applications. Whenever your info is found to be exposed, we’ll notify you so that you can act before any damage is done.

You can enter the following details to be monitored:

• Up to 5 email addresses

• Up to 5 phone numbers

• Up to 5 addresses

• Your driver's license

• Your mother’s maiden name

• Up to 10 bank accounts

• Up to 10 credit cards

• Up to 5 insurance policies (e.g. provincial health card, life insurance policy)

Follow these simple steps to enroll:

1. Click on the Set up now button in your TELUS email.

2. Create or enter your existing My Norton username and password. If you have an existing My Norton account but don’t remember your password, please reset your password.

3. Read and accept the terms and conditions.

4. Input your personal information. You can enter the details to be monitored:
   

• Up to 5 email addresses

• Up to 5 phone numbers

• Up to 5 addresses

• Your driver's license

• Your mother’s maiden name

• Up to 10 bank accounts

• Up to 10 credit cards

• Up to 5 insurance policies (e.g. provincial health card, life insurance policy)

5. After you have finished inputting your personal details, return to the main menu by selecting My Norton in the top left corner to download your security and privacy features.

When you first input your personal information, the product will conduct a one-time historical scan to determine if personal information about you has been exposed.

You can also download an app onto your mobile device, search the Google Play Store or Apple App Store for Norton 360.

We monitor your credit file and notify you whenever there are key changes or suspicious activity, such as large purchases. This helps you know if someone has gained access to your credit, allowing you to prevent further damage from fraud.
