Digital standards have a new home

Nov 14, 2019

Maturing as an organization means sunsetting websites that no longer serve the needs of our team members and partners. We’re happy to announce the complete shutdown of the Digital Standards site (digitalstandards.telus.com) and the migration of its contents to the Brand Resource Centre.

You can now find standards around accessibility, Native app & analytics in one place.

Come on TELUS, do the Loco-Motion

June 21, 2019

All motion used on any digital experience should add character and delight the user, without making them feel dizzy. To learn about the correct way to incorporate such a fun element to a page, check out the new Motion Standards page on the brand resource centre.

The role of design

March 20, 2019

Check out the new Design section on the Brand Resources Centre. Our design standards make every TELUS experience seamless, professional and instantly recognizable. A consistent visual identity builds brand recognition with our customers and ultimately leads to a sense of trust and credibility with our communications.

User testing: more options, more problems

March 12, 2019

As the Brand Resource Centre grows, so does the complexity of the site's IA. To echo one of our most important principles, "the best decisions are those that are informed by customer and team member feedback." We're currently testing multiple prototypes in various stages of development, to iron out any usability issues before activation and launch. Capturing your insight is critical, so make sure to provide your feedback.

Keeping it fresh

March 1, 2019

Who doesn’t love new things? Especially when they’re free! With Spring right around the corner, the Brand Systems team are back at it again with a shiny new homepage, green leaves and all. Based off user testing, the design of the homepage has been stripped back, displaying only the most relevant content our users need. Keep up to date on all the latest and greatest releases, with the What’s new, Blog and Quick Access sections.

And so it begins...

January 24, 2019

After months of planning, our team has launched the first iteration of the Brand Resource Centre (BRC). The BRC will be the home for all TELUS standards, tools, assets and support. It will simplify the search for official resources by guiding over 30,000+ team members, vendors and partners to the information and support they need. BrandHub, TELUS Design System and Digital Standards are still live, but will eventually be migrated into this hub.
