Turning passcode on

Apple Watch Series 4 on watchOS 7.0.0

Setting up a passcode on your device will help keep your information secure. A screen lock will prevent others from getting into your device unless they have the necessary credentials.

  1. Note: When a passcode is set up, you'll need to enter it each time you wear your Watch.

  2. Step 1 of 6:

    From Settings, turn the Digital Crown to scroll to Passcode.

  3. Step 2 of 6:

    Tap Passcode.

    Step 2/6

  4. Step 3 of 6:

    Tap Turn Passcode On.

    Step 3/6

  5. Step 4 of 6:

    Enter the passcode you'd like to use.

    Step 4/6

  6. Step 5 of 6:

    Re-enter your passcode to confirm it.

    Step 5/6

  7. Step 6 of 6:

    You've completed the steps!
