Replying to a text

Text messages that come into your device will appear in your notification panel. Learn how you can view the messages that arrive in your notification panel and respond to them.
- Step 1 of 5:
From the Messages app main screen, select a message you'd like to reply to.
- Step 2 of 5:
Tap the Scribble icon.
Note: You can also choose to dictate a message, add emoji, share your heartbeat, or select a message suggestion.
- Step 3 of 5:
Enter your reply by drawing each character one at a time.
- Step 4 of 5:
Tap Send.
- Step 5 of 5:
You've completed the steps!
