Your device can be secured with a password making it so no one can get into your device without entering your password. If you forget your password you will have to reset your device and you will lose any information that is not backed up.

Your device can be secured with a password making it so no one can get into your device without entering your password. If you forget your password you will have to reset your device and you will lose any information that is not backed up.

Current Step: 1 - From the Web User Interface main screen, click Settings under Wi-Fi.
  1. 1 - From the Web User Interface main screen, click Settings under Wi-Fi.
  2. 2 - Scroll to the Network Name(SSID) field.
  3. 3 - Click the Network Name(SSID) field.
  4. 4 - Enter your new network name.
  5. 5 - Click the Password field.
    • Note: Your Wi-Fi password is also known as your wireless security key. This is different than your Web User Interface login password.
  6. 6 - Enter your new password.
  7. 7 - Click Apply.
  8. 8 - Click Yes.
  9. 9 - You've completed the steps!
