Setting up Purchase Sharing

Learn how you can share app purchases made on your device with your family. Some devices may also be able to share location and music purchases.
- Step 1 of 10:
From the Home screen, tap Settings.
- Step 2 of 10:
Select your profile.
- Step 3 of 10:
Tap Family Sharing.
Note: If necessary, tap Set Up Family Sharing to begin Family Sharing setup. You can only set up Family Sharing twice a year so it is best to leave it active after you have set it up.
- Step 4 of 10:
Tap Purchase Sharing.
Note: For this tutorial, we're setting up Purchase Sharing. You can choose other types of features for Family Sharing, but steps may vary slightly based on which feature you choose.
- Step 5 of 10:
Tap Continue.
- Step 6 of 10:
Tap Continue again.
- Step 7 of 10:
Tap Send A Message.
- Step 8 of 10:
Tap the Send icon.
Note: A contact address for each family member will be prepopulated.
- Step 9 of 10:
Tap Done.
- Step 10 of 10:
You've completed the steps!
