Paying friends using Apple Pay Cash

Learn how to send money to your contacts. You can send money to your contacts from your device.
- Step 1 of 11:
From the Home screen, tap the Messages icon.
- Step 2 of 11:
Tap the Compose icon.
- Step 3 of 11:
Enter a contact's name.
- Step 4 of 11:
Select the contact.
- Step 5 of 11:
Tap Pay.
- Step 6 of 11:
Tap the Plus or Minus sign to adjust your payment value.
Note: You can also enter an exact value by tapping Show keypad.
- Step 7 of 11:
Tap Pay.
Note: If you'd like, you can also add a message with your payment.
- Step 8 of 11:
Tap the Send icon.
- Step 9 of 11:
Tap Pay with Passcode.
Note: For this tutorial, we're authenticating a payment with your passcode. You can also use Touch ID, but steps may vary based on what you choose.
- Step 10 of 11:
Enter your passcode.
- Step 11 of 11:
You've completed the steps!
