Deleting conversations

Learn how to remove a text from your device. Removing a text message from your device will not remove it from the device of your correspondents.
- Step 1 of 5:
From the Messages app main screen, tap Edit.
- Step 2 of 5:
Tap Select Messages.
- Step 3 of 5:
Select the conversation you'd like to delete.
Note: You can select multiple conversations at once.
- Step 4 of 5:
Tap Delete.
- Step 5 of 5:
You've completed the steps!
