Follow along to set up and activate your Watch for the first time (or after a factory reset). After these few steps, you'll be able to begin using your Watch. If your watch is unable to pair reset it and attempt to pair again.

Current Step: 1 - From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps.
In order to pair your Galaxy Watch to your device, you need to download the Galaxy Wearable application from the Play Store. For the purposes of this tutorial we will be using a Samsung Galaxy S9.
  1. 1 - From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps.
  2. 2 - Tap Samsung Wearable
  3. 3 - Tap START THE JOURNEY.
  4. 4 - Select your watch.
    • Note: Follow the prompts if Bluetooth® is not on.
  5. 5 - Tap the Text icon.
  6. 6 - On your phone, tap OK.
    • Note: While your phone pairs you can go through some tutorials by tapping HOW TO USE. Here you can swipe through some basic tutorials.
  7. 7 - On your watch, tap the Check mark icon.
  8. 8 - Tap Agree to all.
  9. 9 - Scroll to NEXT.
  10. 10 - Tap NEXT.
  11. 11 - Tap SKIP
    • Note: If you backed up your watch's storage, you can restore it at this step.
  12. 12 - Tap NEXT.
  13. 13 - Tap the Email/Username field.
  14. 14 - Enter your email.
  15. 15 - Tap the Password field.
  16. 16 - Enter your password.
  17. 17 - Tap the Next key.
  18. 18 - Tap Set up this watch.
  19. 19 - Tap Accept.
  20. 20 - Tap Finish.
  21. 21 - Tap CONNECT.
  22. 22 - Tap NEXT.
    • Note: Once your watch is paired to your phone, follow the prompts on your watch to learn about some basic functionality.
  23. 23 - You've completed the steps!
