Backing up and restoring your phone

It is a good idea to back up your device's information to the cloud regularly in case something happens to your device. Backing up your device's data to the cloud can make it easier to set up your new device.

  1. Step 1 of 8:

    From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.

    Tap the Settings icon.

    Step 2/8

  3. Step 3 of 8:

    Tap Accounts and backup.

    Step 3/8

  4. Step 4 of 8:

    Tap Backup and restore.

    Step 4/8

  5. Step 5 of 8:

    Tap or slide the Back up my data switch to ON.

    Step 5/8

  6. Step 6 of 8:

    Tap Backup account.

    Step 6/8

  7. Step 7 of 8:

    Select your preferred account.

    Step 7/8

    You've completed the steps!
