Adding a contact
Samsung Galaxy Note8 on Android 9.0.0
Create a new contact to store that person's information on your device. In addition to saving their phone number, you can store information like email, address, and more to each contact.
- Step 1 of 10:
From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps.
- Step 2 of 10:
Tap Contacts.
- Step 3 of 10:
Tap the Add contacts icon.
Note: If prompted, select your contact storage location.
- Step 4 of 10:
Enter the contact's name.
- Step 5 of 10:
Tap the Phone field.
- Step 6 of 10:
Enter the contact's phone number.
- Step 7 of 10:
Tap the Next key.
- Step 8 of 10:
Enter the contact's email address.
- Step 9 of 10:
Tap Save.
- Step 10 of 10:
You've completed the steps!
