Restarting your OBD-II device

If your device is having connectivity issues, restarting it may help. This is usually the first step when troubleshooting a device.

  1. Note: If your device is having connectivity issues, restarting it may help.

  2. Step 1 of 3:

    Locate the Restart button on the left side of your OBD-II device.

  3. Step 2 of 3:

    Press the Restart button.

    Note: Your device will need to be connected to a power source or have sufficient charge in it's internal battery to complete this function.
