Note: Don't touch the gold contacts on your SIM card. That could damage the card. If you’re using a new SIM card, you can activate it by calling your carrier.
- Step 1 of 5:
Press the card removal tool into the combined nano SIM/microSD card tray pinhole and push in until the tray releases.
Note: You must have a micro SIM card inserted in your phone to place calls, access the internet, download apps and share pictures over your carrier's network.
- Step 2 of 5:
Slide the nano SIM/microSD card tray out of its slot.
Note: A micro SIM card may already be inserted in your phone.
- Step 3 of 5:
Insert or remove the nano SIM card into or from the tray with the gold contacts facing the back of the phone.
- Step 4 of 5:
Press the nano SIM/microSD card tray back into its slot until it clicks, making sure it's secure.

You've completed the steps!
