Changing your login password

Setting up a lock on your device will help keep your information secure. A screen lock will prevent others from getting into your device unless they have the necessary credentials. If your device is requesting a PUK code, you need to contact your carrier to unlock your device. Removing your security lock will allow anyone to be able to unlock your device.

From the Web User Interface main screen, click Settings.
Note: Your login password is different than your wireless security key to log in to your network.

Click System.
- Step 3 of 11:
Click Modify Password.
- Step 4 of 11:
Enter your current password.
- Step 5 of 11:
Click the New password field.
- Step 6 of 11:
Enter your new password.
- Step 7 of 11:
Click the Confirm password field.
- Step 8 of 11:
Confirm your new password.
- Step 9 of 11:
Scroll to Apply.
- Step 10 of 11:
Click Apply.
Note: After this step, you'll need to reconnect to your Web User Interface with your new credentials.
