Troubleshoot the performance of your Pik TV Media box

TELUS is continuously improving the quality of the Pik TV experience. In the event that the Pik TV app or Pik TV Media Box is experiencing slower than usual system performance, below are a few methods to help:

Rebooting the Pik TV Media Box


  1. Go to the Android TV Home Screen
  2. Go to Settings
  1. Go to About
  1. Select Restart

Restarting the Pik TV App


  1. Go to the Android TV Home Screen
  2. Go to Settings
  1. Go to Apps
  1. Go to Pik TV
  1. Select Force Stop and then Ok
  1. Select Open

Resetting the Pik TV App


  1. Go to the Android TV Home Screen
  2. Go to Settings
  1. Go to Apps
  1. Go to Pik TV
  1. Select Clear Data
  1. Launch Pik and enter your login credentials

Note: By clearing the Pik TV data, you are resetting the app.

Sluggish performance after trying these steps


If you are still experiencing sluggish performance after completing all of these steps, try connecting your Media Box using an ethernet cable connection.
