How it works
Emergency alert received
An alert is received by our trained operators when the emergency button is pressed or when the built-in accelerometer automatically detects a fall. (Automatic fall detection feature¹ is optional with the LivingWell Companion Home).
Trained operator contacts customer
When the alert is received, our trained operators will immediately contact the customer through the base station using the two-way voice speaker to confirm the emergency status prior to initiating the emergency protocol.
Trained operator contacts family or friends (up to 3)
If the customer cannot be reached or an emergency is confirmed, the trained operator first contacts up to 3 family and/or friends.
Emergency services dispatched
If family or friends are unavailable or if the situation warrants, a trained operator will then dispatch emergency services to the customer's home.
