TELUS Website Services is now EasyHosting by Deluxe

As of October 31st, 2022, TELUS will no longer be supporting the following services:
Website hosting for Do-It-Yourself plans
Design and maintenance for Do-It-For-Me plans
Included and additionally purchased email services
Domain Names managed by TELUS
To minimize any disruption to your business, TELUS has entered into an agreement with EasyHosting, a Deluxe Company, who will continue providing the same service(s) that you are receiving today at the same cost. From November 1, 2022 onwards, EasyHosting will be responsible for providing service, support and billing.

Please see important notes below if you currently bill your Website Services to a TELUS billing account:
In order to continue your services, you will need to update your billing information prior to October 31, 2022. You can do this by logging into your TELUS Website Services Customer Portal and providing a valid credit card. Credit card will be your primary method of billing moving forward.
You will need to validate or provide your current TELUS billing account number in the area provided on the portal page in order to cancel billing the service to your current TELUS billing account. You can find your account number by looking up your TELUS Business Invoice or login to MyTELUS.
Please note: If you have more than one domain name, you will need to log into each account to update your new billing information for each. You will be billed for the services associated with each domain name on a separate line item on your credit card statement moving forward.
Your new credit card billing up until October 31st will be charged by and show on your statement as TELUS. Following that time, you will be charged by and see EasyHosting show on your statement.
If you currently bill your Website Services to a credit card:
You have no action to take. Credit card billing up until October 31st will continue to be charged by TELUS, and afterwards, starting on November 1, 2022, will be charged by EasyHosting.
November 1, 2022: services will be switched to EasyHosting and EasyHosting will be responsible for billing you on your credit card.
You will receive an email from EasyHosting that will provide you a new link to access your current account(s) from the new EasyHosting Customer Portal, plus other helpful information.
Your username and password for access to the new customer portal will remain the same as the username and password you use today to access the current customer portal.
Business continuity for your existing services. Using EasyHosting by Deluxe ensures there will be minimal to no disruption to your existing services.
You keep the same services for the same price.

Will there be downtime with my website if I switch my service to Deluxe?
When you choose to move your service to EasyHosting, you can expect minimal to no downtime. The advantage to using EasyHosting is that you get to keep your same products and services, for the same price.
Can I still order new website and marketing services products or upgrade my plan before October 31st?
Absolutely! You will need to ensure first that you update your billing to reflect a valid credit card, then contact the EasyHosting sales team available at 1-866-381-0949 (regular business hours) or by email: sales@teluswebsitesolutions.com.
When will I be billed? And by whom?
If you currently bill to a TELUS billing account, once you switch your payment method to credit card billing, you can expect to be billed via credit card by TELUS until November 1st, 2022, after which point you will begin being charged by EasyHosting. You should expect to receive a prorated credit on your TELUS bill based on the date you added credit card billing within the next 1-2 billing cycles.
If you currently bill your Website Services to a credit card, there is nothing for you to do. As of November 1, 2022 your billing will simply switch from TELUS to EasyHosting. You will see this reflected on your credit card statement.
How do I update my credit card information?
Log into your TELUS Website Services Customer Portal. Enter your username and password. If you have forgotten your password, select Forgot Password? to retrieve it.
On the drop-down menu following your account name, select ‘Payments’
On this ‘Billing Information’ page you will be able to enter your credit card information and billing details.
You will be asked to verify, or if the field is blank, provide your current TELUS billing account number found on your TELUS invoice (or available on MyTELUS) so that your TELUS billing can be stopped and any prorated amount be credited to your account.

What will happen to the domain name(s) I have registered through TELUS after October 31?
If you have domain name(s) registered through TELUS, you will see renewal reminder emails remain intact going forward, but after October 31 you will see them come from EasyHosting rather than directly from TELUS. Renewal terms will be the same as those opted into at the time of purchase.
You can also log into the Website Services Customer Portal and manage / renew your domain yourself under ‘Web Apps’ by selecting ‘Domain Manager’, or calling the support team at 1-866-292-8144 Option 1 and have the agent help renew your domain.
If you have a domain name free with no charge, please be aware that domain renewals in 2022 will continue as usual with no action required from you.
After October 13, 2022, renewals for domain names will be seen on credit card statements under the name “EasyHosting” rather than TELUS..
What happens if I choose not to continue my service with Easyhosting by Deluxe?
Not a problem. However, it is important to note you will need to make arrangements to switch to another provider before October 31st, 2022. If you do not, you may lose access to your services and your data.
How do I cancel my TELUS account?
If you decide you would like to take your service elsewhere or would simply like to cancel your TELUS Website Services please call TELUS billing at 1-866-292-8144 option 2.
If I cancel my hosting service, will I be able to keep my email?
No. Unfortunately, your email is a part of the hosting service provided. If you choose to cancel your hosting services, your email services will cancel along with it. You may lose access to your email and all associated email data. To learn how canceling your service will impact your email, contact support at 1-866-292-8144 option 2.
