Supporting humanitarian efforts in Pakistan

Monsoon rains have caused devastating floods in Pakistan, leaving millions homeless, destroying buildings, bridges and roads, and plunging vast swathes of the country under water.

Aid agencies report escalating food shortages due to the monsoon’s impact, as well as the increasing risk of widespread infectious diseases, leaving millions vulnerable to illness.

Our support for Pakistan’s people during this rapidly-escalating humanitarian crisis exemplifies our commitment to help those who need us most. Together, we can help.

What we are doing

  • Waiving all roaming charges for calls, text and data overages for customers currently there, as well as long distance home phone, mobile calls and SMS fees for those at home in Canada reaching out to friends and family in Pakistan

  • Making a $50,000 commitment from TELUS to the Canadian Red Cross Pakistan Floods Appeal

  • Equipping TELUS customers to donate their TELUS Rewards points to TELUS Friendly Future Foundation to support the Canadian Red Cross Pakistan Floods Appeal
