As an Executive Vice-President of TELUS and the President and CEO of TELUS International, Jeff is committed to empowering and supporting what he believes to be the best team in the global customer experience (CX) industry, who surpass clients’ expectations every day in designing, building and delivering high-tech, high-touch customer experiences powered by next-gen digital solutions.
Since joining TELUS in 2001, Jeff has undertaken progressively senior positions across Finance and Administration, IP Applications Business Development, New Product and Service Development, Ventures, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Jeff has led TELUS International since 2008, driving the company’s growth from a single contact center in Manila to a customer experience innovator that designs, builds and delivers next-gen digital solutions for global and disruptive brands from sites in 10 countries located across four continents. As a result of the TELUS International team’s grit and dedication to ongoing successful evolution, Jeff was honored to have been named “Executive of the Year” at the esteemed International Business Awards (Stevie Awards) for 2016.
Raised in Tanzania, Jeff spoke Swahili before learning English, and his upbringing has greatly influenced his worldview and commitment to greater social justice, and he’s proud to lead and participate in TELUS International’s global corporate social responsibility efforts that are unparalleled in the CX industry. Each and every year, Jeff is inspired by the thousands of team members who volunteer alongside their family members, friends and TELUS International clients to improve the lives of children and families in every single region where the company operates around the world.
Jeff continues to serve on the Board of Directors for Alpha Cancer Technologies Inc. since joining in 2012, advancing its targeted chemotherapy delivery platform based on Alpha Fetoprotein (AFP) for greater performance and safety. Jeff has also served as the Honorary Chair for Reach for the Rainbow, a not-for-profit organization that has pioneered the integration of youth with disabilities into the mainstream of society, from 2011 to 2016 – a cause very close to his heart.
