More than $17M dedicated to protecting animals and our environment

At TELUS, we passionately promote a healthier environment, where we inspire and celebrate support for animals and their habitats. According to World Wildlife Foundation (WWF), the world has seen a 52 per cent decline in species populations since 1970. We are committed to safeguarding Canadian wildlife and our natural spaces today to ensure healthy, sustainable communities for future generations.

We are equally as committed to encouraging healthy, active communities where youth and families have access to increased parks and green spaces in our urban environment.

How our support for environment comes to life

Think global. Plant local.

Think global. Plant local.

TELUS is helping organizations WWF-Canada and Carolinian Canada protect biodiversity through gardening projects that use technology and good old-fashioned botany to restore wildlife habitat, curb climate change and make local environments more resilient.

Big nature. Big data.

Big nature. Big data.

We’re helping organizations like the Nature Conservancy of Canada use communications technology to collect and interpret information about species and their habitats to boost conservation efforts.
