You will be especially touched and inspired by Isabelle Tremblay’s generosity and commitment, a mother of a 10-year-old boy with Tourette’s syndrome.
Isabelle Huot (Chair)
Owner, Kilo Solution Clinics and Author
Isabelle Huot has a PhD in nutrition and specializes in nutritional epidemiology, which gives her a unique expertise in Québec. Over the last 20 years, she has gained extensive media experience for print and electronic media such as Journal de Montréal, Bel Âge magazine, L’Actualité médicale and TV show Salut Bonjour. She can also be heard on various radio stations. She published 10 nutrition books, all of which became bestsellers.
In the knowledge that more than 50% of Quebecers are overweight and that few resources offer a complete and balanced solution, she founded Kilo Solution weight-loss clinics in 2009. Kilo Solution gears its services toward both consumers and businesses. Among the many distinctions she received over the years, she won the prestigious New Entrepreneur award from the Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec (the Quebec businesswomen’s network) in 2015.
In addition to her numerous professional activities, Isabelle Huot is a long-time volunteer. She is deeply involved in many social causes including Moisson Montréal, Le Club des petits déjeuners, le Garde-Manger Pour Tous and Le Chaînon. She is also the spokesperson for Sodexo Foundation’s Feeding our Future program, which serves balanced lunches to nearly 1,000 disadvantaged children in Quebec during the summer.
