Ben Schultz, DVM
Dr. Ben Schultz is a veterinary consultant specializing in bovine animal health. With a robust background in cow-calf production and feedlot production, Dr. Schultz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role.
Dr. Schultz earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Saskatchewan Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Following his graduation, he established a large animal veterinary practice in Erskine, Alberta, in 2011. Over the years, his practice has become well-known for its focus on bovine health, particularly in cow-calf and feedlot production systems. Given the geographic location of his practice, Dr. Schultz has also gained extensive experience working with ranch and rodeo horses.
In January 2024, Dr. Schultz joined TELUS Agriculture as a Veterinary Consultant. In this role, he leverages his extensive expertise to support and enhance the health and productivity of livestock operations. His work is characterized by a strong commitment to improving animal health outcomes and advancing industry practices through applied research and innovative solutions.
