Christopher McMullen, BSc, PhD
Dr. McMullen is an expert in Epidemiology, Statistics, Applied Research, and Bioinformatics. He earned his PhD in Veterinary Medical Sciences from the University of Calgary in 2020, where his research focused on bacterial respiratory microbiota and its role in respiratory disease in beef cattle. This advanced education has equipped him with a deep understanding of the complex interactions between microbiota and animal health.
Dr. McMullen's journey with TELUS Agriculture, formerly known as Feedlot Health Management Services, began in 2012 when he worked as a Research Project Manager until 2016. His dedication to advancing animal health research led him to return to graduate school to pursue his PhD. After completing his doctoral studies, Dr. McMullen rejoined Feedlot Health in the Research Department as a Research Scientist. In this role, he focuses on research systems development, technical writing, and study implementation, contributing significantly to the organization's research capabilities and scientific advancements.
