Eugene Janzen, DVM, MVS
Dr. Janzen is a distinguished professional specializing in Animal Health Management and Pathology. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, in 1972. Following his graduation, Dr. Janzen practiced veterinary medicine in northeastern Alberta for three years before returning to academia. He was awarded an Alberta-sponsored fellowship to pursue a post-graduate degree, leading to his Master of Veterinary Studies (M.V.S.) from the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 1977.
In the same year, Dr. Janzen accepted a position with the Ambulatory Clinic at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In this role, he dedicated his efforts to beef cattle medicine, combining his clinical expertise with a general interest in the health and management of beef cattle. Dr. Janzen's extensive experience and commitment to veterinary medicine have made significant contributions to the field.
Dr. Janzen became associated with TELUS Agriculture, formerly known as Feedlot Health Management Services, in 2003. His deep knowledge and experience in animal health management and pathology continue to be invaluable to the organization, enhancing its capabilities in providing top-tier veterinary services and advancing animal health and welfare.
