Sharing Connor’s story

We’d like you to meet Connor, a remarkable young man who has struggled with a speech disorder since he was two years old.
Connor lives outside of Lloydminster, Alberta, a five-hour drive from Edmonton, which is the nearest city that offers learning support, through the Institute for Stuttering Treatment and Research (ISTAR), to help him with his stutter.

Conner’s family was incredibly grateful that a $20,000 donation from the Edmonton Community Board funded the purchase of videoconferencing technology so that Connor could receive exceptional support without leaving his hometown.
