TELUS TV is an all-digital entertainment service delivered through your high speed Internet connection.
How does TELUS TV work?
TELUS TV is an all-digital Internet protocol television service (IPTV), delivered over a TELUS High Speed Internet access line.
What does installation involve?
When you order TELUS TV an appointment will be booked for a technician to visit your home. Installation usually involves nothing more than plugging in to and configuring your existing home phone or High Speed Internet lines.
Do I need to purchase any new equipment to have digital TV service with TELUS?
No, you do not have to purchase any equipment. TELUS TV uses its own digital box to receive the digital signal and convert it into a format that will work with your existing TV. This allows you to receive programs broadcast on digital channels. TELUS provides the HD-ready digital box rentals along with all the necessary cables when you sign up on any service agreement.
Can I purchase or rent additional boxes?
You can rent additional HD-ready digital boxes for $5/month and/or HD-ready PVRs for $10/month. Please note our maximum household rental limit of either 2 HD boxes or up to 3 non-HD digital boxes.
How many channels can I receive on TELUS TV?
TELUS TV offers over 390 digital channels* and 35 HD channels. The exact number of channels varies by geographic region. If you live in an HD service area, you can also add HD programming to your channel package.
