    Your TELUS wireless gateway lets you connect devices wirelessly, creating your own wireless home network.

    For your security, your wireless gateway needs to be configured with a wireless network name (SSID) and a network security key. Please write this information down, as you will need to select your wireless network name and enter in your network security key every time you want to access your wireless home network.

    step 1 Using the computer you connected to the wireless gateway, open your Internet browser (Example: Internet Explorer) and enter http://192.168.1.254
    step 2 Click on the login (Top right hand corner)
    step 3 Enter in username and password and click OK
    Username: admin
    Password: telus
    step 4 Click on Advanced Settings
    step 5 Click on Wireless Network
    step 6 On the Wireless Network page, choose the following settings:
    • Wireless Interface: Should be "enabled"
    • SSID: Enter a name for your wireless home network. You will need this name to connect to your wireless home network.
    • Set the Channel frequency: Choose 1 to 6 for best performance. If you are not getting proper wireless signal, try another channel.
    • Enable Auto Scan on Power on: should be unchecked
    • Enable SSID Broadcast: should be "enabled"
    • Click Apply
    step 7 Under Wireless Network, select Encryption & Authentication
    step 8 In the drop down menu choose WEP 128 and click Apply
    step 9 Under Wireless Network/ Encryption& Authentication, click on WEP 128 on the left hand side.
    step 10 Within the Wireless WEP 128 Configuration page make sure to edit the following settings:
    • Passphrase: Enter a short sentence and click on Generate Keys
    • Please write down the 26 digit key that appears in the 13 boxes below, this will be your passkey to enter your wireless network for the first time. (The passphrase is used only to generate a passkey, it is not used as an encryption key)
    • Click Apply
    step 11 Click on Logout to complete the wireless configuration of your Siemens SE567.
