Do I need to initially program the Logitech Harmony remote or does it work out of the box?
The Logitech Harmony remote is designed to be a self-install remote. For new clients, simply install the software provided and follow the online set up process. Complete as much of the installation process as you feel comfortable doing. If you need help, collect the model numbers of your devices and the TELUS TV installer will guide you through the process once he arrives to install your TELUS TV service. The installer will program the Logitech Harmony remote to work with your digital box, TV and DVD.
If you are an existing customer, you can purchase a remote for $149.95 through 310-MYTV. You will be sent a Logitech Harmony remote, install software and quick install guide for you to install the remote yourself. The Logitech Harmony remote install software does not start, what do I do?
Your remote software should automatically start after the initialization process. If it does not, you may need to restart your computer. After restarting, go to Start > All Programs > TELUS > Logitech Harmony Remote Software 7 on the Windows taskbar. If this does not work, try deleting the program and reinstalling it.

Why do the remote's menu screen and buttons not light up?
Ensure that you have installed the batteries properly. Also make sure that the batteries have enough power to operate the remote.

Why won't my TV turn on when I press the power button?
The power button on the Logitech Harmony remote turns off your TELUS TV digital box and other devices as well as activating the backlit display.
To turn on your TV, press Activities to turn on the display screen. From this menu select TELUS TV and this will turn on your TELUS TV digital box and your TV.

Why does the remote turn on my TV or TELUS digital box but not both?
Press the Help button on your remote. You will be asked a series of questions on the menu screen that will help you navigate through this issue. Refer to page 6 of the Logitech Harmony remote user guide for more information about the Help button.
Also please ensure that you have done the following:
- Kept the remote pointed at the device(s) you are trying to turn on.
- Input the proper code for your device during the remote set up process. Please refer to page 5 of the Logitech Harmony remote user guide for more details on setting up your remote online.
- Checked that the TELUS TV activity was selected during the set up process. You'll have to start the remote software and go to step 4 - Set Up Activities to make sure that the check box was selected. Refer to page 5 of the Logitech Harmony remote user guide for more information.

What if I want to control only one of my devices?
At any time, press Devices to switch to device mode. Once in this mode, your remote will display a list of the devices that you have in your configuration. Select a device from the list and the remote will only control that device. To exit the device mode, click on Activities . Refer to page 5 of the Logitech Harmony remote user guide for more information on controlling individual devices.

What if I cannot find the device code in the database of devices?
Your remote can learn infrared (IR) commands from other remote controls. This function should only be used in situations where the remote's database does not already contain an infrared command you would like to use. To determine the device you would like to send the IR command to complete the following steps:
- Connect your remote to your computer to start the included software
- Click on Devices
- Select Learn IR for the device you would like to control
- Select the commands you want the remote to learn
- Click Learn Selected Commands and follow the instructions
- Click Done

What should I do if I do not receive my remote before installation?
Wait until the TELUS TV installer arrives and they will bring you a Logitech Harmony remote.
