Before installing
New customers
If you are installing TELUS eProtect software for the first time, you must uninstall any existing security software on your computer. Please refer to the documentation of your software or operating system for instructions on how to do this.
Existing customers
If you are upgrading your TELUS eProtect software, please ensure your TELUS Internet Security services are shut down before running the installation.
Installing or upgrading
1. Once you have downloaded TELUS eProtect software, double-click the icon to begin installation or to upgrade existing software.
2. Follow the installation wizard instructions.
3. When prompted for your username and password:
- Enter your TELUS High Speed username and password. If you are not a TELUS High Speed customer, enter the username and password you were given when you ordered your TELUS Internet Security services.
- If you have forgotten your username, check the e-mail you received from customer_service@telus.net.
- If you have forgotten your password, visit our password reset tool.
